‘Between Worlds’ Limited Edition canvas print
This is a painting I created in 2016 called ‘Between Worlds’. It features an amazing human being and artist named Shia, who I met when I went to Payerbach, Austria, to study the Mischtechnik with Philip Rubinov Jacobson and Mantra Cora.
The Mermaid theme was strong in my life, the symbolic expression I was experiencing of this mythic being, as I was free and enjoying the height of my maidenhood, and witnessing the magic of following my intuitive nudges and allowing my heart to be pulled by what moves and inspires me… I created this painting of a mermaid, embodied by a beautiful friend whom I got to share time and space with, reflecting to me my own magic and vision, and expressing the otherworldly experience of following intuition, being an artist and woman, between the worlds of the visible world and my life at the time…
